Molybdenum bars are silver and bar metals. They are mainly used in the production of electric light sources, wire-cut molybdenum wires, or as additives to steel. Products are packed in cartons, wooden boxes or rust-proof iron drums. The appearance of molybdenum bars is silver-gray metallic luster. Because of its excellent mechanical and chemical properties, molybdenum bars have been widely used in manufacturing industry.

   Molybdenum bar, wire, molybdenum plate and other alloy products are widely used in metallurgy, mechanical manufacturing, electronics, lighting and some high-tech fields. Such as lighting filament bracket, mandrel conductor, reflecting screen; anode, grid, auxiliary electrode, gasket for electronic industry; container, boat, heater for vacuum plating and sputtering; heating element, electrode and heat insulation screen for high temperature furnace; surface treatment for surfacing, spraying; thermocouple and protective sleeve for temperature measurement, etc.

    As an alloying element of steel, molybdenum can improve the strength, especially the high temperature strength and toughness of steel; improve the corrosion resistance of steel in acid-base solution and liquid metal; improve the wear resistance and hardenability, weldability and heat resistance of steel. Molybdenum is a good element for carbide formation. It is not oxidized during steelmaking. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other alloying elements.        Molybdenum and chromium, nickel, manganese and silicon can produce different types of stainless steel, tool steel, high-speed steel and alloy steel.
