       The following is mainly about the selection and rolling process of molybdenum sheet.

       1. Hot rolling of molybdenum plate

       Hot rolling is carried out on a rolling mill with a width of 650mm, and intermediate annealing is carried out in a hydrogen protection furnace. The size of cold rolled finished molybdenum plate is 0.4 ~ 0.5 x 700~800 * 2000 ~ 3000mm.It is necessary to increase the size and specification of hot rolled slab. It is more suitable to choose molybdenum sheets with a single weight of 20 Delta / block through test and calculation. In order to roll out the suitable cold rolled molybdenum plate, two schemes are used for hot rolling, which are one commutation rolling and two reversing rolling respectively. The thickness of the rolled molybdenum plate is between 2.9 and 3.1mm, and the surface quality of the hot rolled plate is good.

      2. Cold rolling of wide width molybdenum plate

     The molybdenum plate with a width of 400 to 510mm is carried out on a cold rolling mill with a width of 550mm, while the molybdenum plate with a width of 700 to 800mm is carried out on the 1200mm four roll reversing cold rolling mill.Because of the large size of molybdenum slab and ensuring the corresponding finished product size, reversing rolling must be adopted in cold rolling. According to the previous experience, it is very easy for molybdenum plate to appear the defects of head lifting and delamination in cold rolling and reversing rolling. In order to ensure the smooth process of cold rolling of broad Mo plate, it is necessary to reduce or overcome the skin and layer of the head as far as possible. Therefore, small technological tests were first arranged, and small tests were carried out on the 550mm four roll reversing cold rolling mill. Through the cold rolling tests of various deformation modes and different processing rates,It is found that the surface quality of the molybdenum plate rolled by a part of the process system is better, and there is no obvious defect form, while the cracks in the edge or the head and tail of the molybdenum plate rolled by most process system have the phenomenon of peeling and delamination.
