Nickel-based nanocomposite coating is a nickel-based nanocomposite coating containing nanoparticles obtained by adding Al2O3,Ti O2,Si O2,Zr O2,Si C, diamond, carbon nanotubes and other nanoparticles in a rapid nickel plating solution.
The hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the coating can be obviously improved by co-deposition of nanoparticles with nickel metal. Hoffer and Hintermann pointed out that the grain size of coating, the adsorption effect of dislocation density and foreign material will influence the microhardness of coatings.
Because there are different nanoparticles in the coating, the properties of the coating are different.
