Recently, the propaganda department of shaanxi provincial party committee and the information office of shaanxi provincial people's government jointly held a press conference to introduce the achievements of the "four cities" construction of baoji city, a new era of magnificent 70 years of struggle. At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, there were only 74 industrial enterprises in baoji city, with an output value of 31 million yuan. During the period of "the first five-year plan" and "the third line", the state laid out a number of industrial projects in baoji, laying the foundation of baoji industry.

After 70 years of development, industrial enterprises have reached more than 6,200 households and employed nearly 300,000 people. One national high-tech development zone, four provincial development zones and 21 industrial concentration zones have been built.

At the same time, has gradually formed with auto parts, baoji titanium and titanium alloy, alcohol, tobacco, food, energy and chemical industry, equipment manufacturing, five pillar industries cluster and aerospace, new energy, electronic information, biological medicine, intelligent manufacture and so on five big emerging industries as the leading system of modern industry, covering 35 industrial categories, 224 industrial industries, has shan steam, geely, east ridge, petroleum steel pipe and so on one batch of world 500 strong, China top 500 enterprises. The five pillar industries account for 83.3% of the total industrial output value above the scale, and the scale of titanium industry ranks the first in China and the second in the world, forming a titanium industrial chain supplemented by many private enterprises. The output value of automobile industry accounts for one third of the province, and it is praised as "China titanium valley" and "silk road famous automobile city".

In 1949, the urban planning area of baoji was only 20 square kilometers, with a population of 248,000. There were only eight streets, and there was only one wooden bridge across the wei river. Baoji declared war on poverty through a series of measures, and the city's 510,000 poor people have achieved "two worries and three guarantees". The poverty incidence rate has decreased from 11.9% in 2015 to 2.2%. Taibai county, qianyang county, fufeng county, linyou county, longxian county, 5 poor counties all take off their caps and get rid of poverty.

Hui jincai said that baoji's development achievements in the past 70 years reflect the unremitting efforts of 3.77 million baoji people and are also the witness and epitome of China's development miracle.
